Lift & Strip

HACK Lift & Strip molds – also known as molds with lateral stripping – make it possible to produce parts that were previously molded in a vertical orientation now in a horizontal one.

This shift offers numerous advantages. For example, the gating can be converted to a valve-gate system with direct injection, and components such as sliders that were previously required can be eliminated. Because the part is stripped laterally, no ejector marks appear on the molded component.

The stripping motion is purely mechanical. These measures result in reduced cycle times and improved part quality.
